Both apps are made by one person, so support is simple: email, and the developer answers. Include the app name, what you were doing, and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help a lot.
On a TestFlight build, you can also take a screenshot and choose "Share Beta Feedback" — that sends your notes (and the screenshot) straight through TestFlight.

Look for the flag: Report a problem in Schlr (on the question screen and the scorecard), Report this question in Triviant (on every answer screen). Reporting keeps that question from coming back to you, and accumulated reports get bad questions reviewed and retired from the shared bank — flagging genuinely helps other players too.
Schlr says Apple Intelligence isn't available
Schlr generates quizzes with Apple Intelligence, so it needs a device that supports it, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Two things to know:
- Apple Intelligence can take a minute or two to become ready after a restart — quitting and reopening the app usually clears the message.
- Without it, Schlr still works with a built-in starter set of questions, and you can plug in your own AI provider instead (below).
Using your own AI provider
Both apps let you point question generation at your own endpoint — anything speaking the OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic API — via Settings → AI provider → Custom endpoint. Enter the endpoint URL (https, or a local address for on-network servers) and your API key — the key is stored in your device Keychain and sent only to the endpoint you configured. Use "Test connection" on that screen to verify the setup before playing.
Trivia night can't see other players
In-person play connects devices directly, with no internet needed. If players don't appear: make sure everyone is in the same room on the same Wi-Fi network, that each device allowed the Local Network permission when the app asked (check Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network if it was declined), and that everyone enters the same room code.
Your data
There are no accounts, and your learning profile lives on your device. What little is shared (anonymous question content), and how to ask about deleting anything, is covered in the privacy policy.
